SERIES OVERVIEW

If we want to understand who God is we must start with Jesus. This is the aim of John’s gospel. The Gospel of John was written by the apostle John, a dear friend of Jesus and an eye-witness to Jesus’ ministry. When John set out to write this gospel, his main point was to tell us about Jesus, and that by knowing, loving, and believing in Him we can have eternal life. The depth of John’s teaching about Jesus shows that he wanted readers not only to come to initial saving faith in Jesus but also to grow into a rich, well-informed faith. Throughout our 42-week study in the Gospel of John we will continually see a Jesus worth believing in and how knowing Him is essential for our everyday life.
